This warship represented the pride of the Ottoman military industry for many years, knew about this ship it entered service in the Ottoman Navy in 1829 and was produced in order to provide a boost to freedom after eight years of weakness and decay.It said about the warship "Mahmudiya" that exceeded the length of 76 meters and it possessed 128 cannons and these data have made it one of the largest warships in the period.This warship participated in numerous military campaigns and most notably "Crimean War" But, with the beginning of the emergence of steam ships began the role of "Mahmudiya" ship
back down slowly until the year 1874 where solutions have been dismantled.
لسفينة الحربية العثمانية " المحمودية "
مثلت هذه السفينة الحربية فخر الصناعة الحربية العثمانية لسنين طويلة , عرف عن هذه السفينة أنها دخلت الخدمة في البحرية العثمانية سنة 1829 و جاء إنتاجها من أجل تقديم دفعة معنوية للبحرية الثمانية بعد سنوات من الضعف و الإنحلال .
قيل عن السفينة الحربية " المحمودية " أن طولها تجاوز ال 76 مترا كما أنها إمتلكت 128 مدفعا و قد جعلتها هذه المعطيات واحدة من أكبر السفن الحربية في تلك الفترة .
شاركت هذه السفينة الحربية في العديد من الحملات العسكرية و لعل أبرزها " حرب القرم " و لكن و مع بداية ظهور السفن البخارية بدأ دور سفينة " المحمودية " يتراجع شيئا فشيئا حتى حلول سنة 1874 حيث تم تفكيكها .
